Hello to all my VZ 58 operators.:rockOn::rockOn::rockOn::rockOn::rockOn::rockOn:
I am hoping to get feedback on this product before fully committing.
For some reason, I have not seen any review on this item in CGN.

Can anyone comment on experiences so far with their rail?
I would rather get this Magwedge Kwik Rail to mount my Hi Lux 1x4 on it.:rockOn::rockOn::rockOn:

The CSA models seem to have an issue with stove piping when combined with these rails. The rail was tested on my CZ858 and experienced a 1% FTE rate.

A customer in the US modded his ejector to achieve extra reliability, but I suspect that the CSA rifles do not eject as vigorously as the earlier models for whatever unfathomable reason, and the shell casings can be trapped while dawdling in the action.

I am waiting for a supply of extra ejectors for any who wish to try the mod on their rifle.

Gen2 rails may be here in the fall sometime, maybe November. We have the SKS mag adaptors to finish up before moving to other projects.
 
I have had these mounted on two different vz's. Functioned perfectly on my 7.62 CZ858. My CSA vz58 in .223 was a different story. Had about 50% fte. I then performed the ejector mod and it improved to about 25%. I'm hoping that the gen 2 rails might improve that number even more.
