I cancelled, they didn't seem surprised. I think there is a wave of people opting out at this point. A promise of "trust me, bro: it'll all be sorted out before they ship", wasn't good enough for me to pay premium prices up front for something I don't desperately need.

The only gun that i ever owned that was truly like that was a handgun. GSG 1911 (.22LR). it was nowhere near 5K, but maybe like 500 rds before it became reliable. Since then, runs like a sewing machine.
