I've never owned a non-restricted so I don't know much about the transportation and storage differences except you don't need an ATT for a non-restricted. Anyone care to highlight storage and transportation of a non-restricted?
Cause the barrel needs to be custom made as there is no aftermarket barrel for it.If I buy a CX4 can I get the longer barrel and re-classify it myself to non-restricted or do I have to buy it and have Epps make it non-restricted before they ship it off to me?
Also, I read it was costing something $475 plus tax just to get the extra barrel??
Thats a BIG expense, does anyone know where the cheapest place to get a CX4 is??
Bits of pieces in Delta B.C has the 9mm in stock for $350!!
I looked into this a few months ago.. the smith told me that i would also have to forfeit the restricted barrel. You cant go have both. This doesnt sound right to me so I have held off.
when i talked to epps they told me i can keep the restricted barrel, just u cannot quite do barrel swap without the gunsmith barrel tools
So swapping out a new barrel with my Beretta stock barrel will be tricky??
The tools required to change barrels are special gun smith tools and gauges to ensure proper head space, alignment, etc.
