Man cave contest V2!

DSC_0209_zps0iofd4m7.jpg

Here's my room. Not a man cave exactly as ladies are welcome (and "man cave" sounds like a ### bar (not that there's any thing wrong with that)).
Brewery, music library, but mostly "the locked room to keep the things the kids shouldn't play with".
The white paper on the wall is to show where a bushmaster sign would fit best. It would really tie the room together. (And if awarded with the grand prize, I would be sure to point out to every visitor just how well it ties the room together.) There's even an electrical outlet below it to plug it in.

A 70's Disco globe ball and Star Wars curtains for the win:)

Gentle_Ben I'm going to assume you own SAR in Steinbach so is that at the shop or your house :) If it's at the shop I need to see it next time I go :)

My modest entry...not much next to Kevin m's! That's a sweet room! Lol

I bought the house last summer and managed to claim a small 7x9 bedroom in the basement as a gun room. Benches are framed with 2x6 and faced with melamine, topped with 3/4 ply. It has a little cubby hole under the stairs where I keep my brass and a few other items, I need to make a little curtain or something to cover the opening yet lol

I used some leftover paint from another project which according to the label is "blueberry" but I like to call it smith and Wesson blue ha ha. I still have to make a couple racks for my pistols on the wall and a few other little things but its pretty much complete. Since I took that video I've also rerouted all the wires for the laptop/speakers underneath the bench top as well and picked up an AR tekmat

Here is my man caves (Had the firearms in the garage before, but didn't like that idea). The gun room is confined and hard to take pictures in, and the garage has the other toys I love.

Nice rides man!!! What brand of gun safes are those? And are those the same branded cabinets on top?

Those are the Stack-On's 10 Gun Cabinets that I got a few at a time when on sale for $99 at CT. On top are no name steel cabinets that I can't remember where I got them. They are ment to stand up, but i removed the inner shelf and they fit perfect sideways on top of the stack-ons.

Thx for the info. Looks like a good setup

I have to admit, I'm a lucky guy. My man cave is my whole house. My wife loves my hobby, and let's me get what I want when funds allow. She calls it the "gun bank". She even looked at me on Monday night and said "we should go shoot some of those jumping carp, that looks like fun!" Now SHE is planning the trip.
She can outshoot most of the guys, and got her hunting license the first year we were together. She cleans all my grouse for me...
so here is my man cave ;)

Had to work on her thumb placement

I thought I should add some Remington pictures to help my entry along. (With the Starwars curtains, which were apparently a hit. I almost cut them out of my first picture!)

These are my go to guns. The 700 took a nice mule deer on opening day this year, and the 870 shoots a lot of lead in the general direction of a lot of crows and magpies.

....wrong kind of cave..... ;)

The time has come! Thanks to everyone who took the time to send in photos of their man caves! We had a lot of fun checking these out, and it seems like CGN enjoyed it as well. It was awfully hard to choose one main winner, but after much careful deliberation we have decided the following:
1. Cilvers- Lucky winner of the Bushmaster LED sign! We were pleased by your obvious brand support, and reasonably impressed by your clean, functional and well organized room. But when we saw the tap on your keggerator that clinched it for you! Congrats.
2.Stripperclipper- Major points for the keen art work, and the curtains really did help your case. If you hadn't added the pics of your Remingtons, you probably still would have gotten nothing but those convinced us you needed some official recognition, so we will be sending you a sweet Styrene Bushmaster sign.
3.KevinM-We are absolutely in awe of your amazing place! Hats off to you, sir! In fact, we will be literally sending you off one of our hats. A Bushmaster hat to be precise. Thanks for sharing that, it is truly inspirational.
4.NLGT- For over all ingeniuity in converting that box into such a cool, discrete and secure storage area we will also be sending you out a fine Bushmaster hat.
5.skoal-Nothing for you, friend! But, our in house pooch, Foxy was so taken with your pooch we want to send you out a special editon Remington dog collar. Please let us know roughly the size of that bad boys neck when you contact us.
For all the winners, thanks for participating we really appreciate it! Please send me a PM with your details (name, address, phone number) and we will get your items out to you next week.
Thanks everyone!
