Man new Ruger QC suck. Surpised crooked D&T holes UPDATE

17th I received the TAN # for the new gun. Dated to being approved on the 13th. So far it taken close to 5 months for a replacement. Not including the 3 -4 weeks when I originally sent the money to start the transfer.

It arrived. So took about week or two of emails back and forth, shipping time, They had it for 5 months and 2 days. Almost 6 months since I first sent cash.

I send them one with crooked drilled and tapped receiver. I get worst belt sanding marks and crooked front sight in return.

My inspection was to make sure the gun was up to par and it is, that's an opinion based on all the 22-45 that have passed through my hands over the last few years. I noticed the front sight was leaning left and replaced it with the straighest one I could find in our inventory. I did not pay any attention to the trigger guard area because the sanding marks are present on all the 22-45 that pass through my hand, it is part of the manufacturing process.

If this pistol is not up to your expectations then return it and we will inform Ruger that you are not happy with the product and see what they decide on this subject.

So they shouldn't have accepted it knowing that sight was crooked. Yet they attempted to fix it and send it to me as good enough. They being the warranty center could have refused it from Ruger. Save the CFO wasted paper, Save me spending another 30$ to ship it back. 5 months more waiting. They knew I would not be happy.

I wonder if I should just pay the difference and get the one with the grips and threaded barrel.

Every time I want to buy another Ruger, I read threads like these.

I was just going to put a VQ comp and call it a day. But once I found out they knew and sent me it anyways. It pissed me off to make them work more and do what I asked in the first place.
