how much would the MCS-T1 model cost?
Kot
If the stock is very light, shouldn't the barrel be lighter also? Wouldn't this be a better balance? I know that many F class/1000 yard shooters balance their rifles within the weight limit to eliminate/reduce vertical spread(Speedy Gonzales article). On second thought, a light custom stock and a light custom barrel (weighing 10 pounds) would be an ideal LR rig for 4 legged critters.Part I like is that they are light. Avg weight is listed at 2.5lbs. With accessories bring it around 3.5lbs. That is 1/2 to 1/4 the weight of other main stream stocks.
I really like mine. The build ended up a touch heavier than I was hoping, because I booted the ball on barrel contour. The stock is super stiff. I asked them to build as light as possible, w/o doing the carbon fiber shell. I never weighed the stock on its own, but the rifle as you see it runs 12lbs.

Who did that build, very sweet.
Hey, that looks like a A4/A5. You know what they say, imitation is the best form of flattery.
I'm really ready to pull the trigger on buying a manners MCS T1 or T4. The reason i'm leaning this way is because McMillan can't step up their game and produce more stocks. 5-6 month wait time is brutal.
