^^ Nice old rifle. ^^ ..... I like to see an old rifle that has been well used and used well. Tells me it's a good rifle and someone really liked it enough to use it a lot.

Thats the way I see it too, especially when the rifles still have good bores.

Had a chance to check out a couple rare Mannlichers at Tier One this week, a 375 takedown and an adjustable cheek 8x56. If only i still made overtime....
Kinda impresses me whats still floating around in Canada.

What's this Tier One you speak of?
Small gun shop in Edmonton.
The 375 is a Holland and Holland customised rifle, like this one:

Not your normal ‘pull the cross pin and separate the stock from the barrelled action type’. It has the original and a second newer dogleg style leather carry case, plus some paperwork about it, to go with it.
Personally, I had never seen an H&H mannlicher in the flesh, so pretty exciting.

The second rifle is stamped 7x57 on the barrel, but is a reworked rifle as well, so not sure if its 7mm or 7,92.
But is like this:

Full stock rifle, with the slickest spring loaded adjustable cheekpiece I have ever seen. Beautifully done and inletted. Comes with a larger diameter scope of the era.

They are part of a collection on consignment. The 9.5 by H&H was something I really didnt expect to see kicking around in central AB.

Picked up this 270 win 1952 with the proceeds of some trading

Curious what the light coloured fore end is? Rosewood? Was this a factory option?

Sorry haven’t gotten it yet for closer pictures
