MAPLE RIDGE ARMOURY - FAQ

VictoryRidgeCS The manual-action PCC market is really heating up in Canada with the Marlin 1894 in 10mm already available in Canada, Sterling Arms RL9 (lever-action 9mm rifle fed by Glock mags) having a planned release in Canada this year, and the bolt-action and pump-action 9mm PCCs from Derya that also takes Glock mags likely being released in Canada this year or early next year as well. Schmeisser is also planning to release a pump-action 9mm PCC that takes Glock mags in Spring 2026 in Canada according to Armchar Canada but I'd imagine that'd be expensive - like >3K CAD per PCC ( ). Schmeisser already makes a 9mm straight-pull PCC with a rotating AR-style bolt and I thought I'd make you aware of that. https://schmeisser-germany.com/en/sp9/

Page 57 and 66 in the English section of their product manual shows the AR-style rotating bolt mechanism. https://schmeisser-germany.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Schmeisser-Anleitung-SP9_DE-EN-Online.pdf

Knowing that the manual-action PCC market is heating up in Canada, do you have any new thoughts on a manual-action PCC in 9mm that takes Glock mags coming from MRA? It doesn't necessarily have to be spring-assisted straight-pull (although I know that is your signature design element), it can be an easier to engineer traditional bolt-action and many would still want to buy it. I do realize that you are a boutique manufacturer of rifles that is very cautious about the uncertain legal landscape for firearms in Canada and have been constantly inundated with Renegade and Maverick orders for over a year now. At the same time, I'm sure many of us would want to buy a manual-action PCC from MRA which stands behind it's products with top-tier warranty, customer service, and spare parts and also makes it's rifle in Canada - I heard from a store retail associate that 95% of the parts are made in Canada. With TACCOM returning this year, you'd probably be one of the most if not the most popular booth there should you show an MRA manual-action PCC. Any thoughts on calling it the "MRA Intrepid"?
