It's better that people express themselves freely so others can realize that there are more then a few different takes on things... Track is not the only one with prejudice for people that think and behave differently then he does. It's actually quite common and at some level most people engage in it... who knows maybe Track was traumatized from an event that involved weed or knows someone that was?
There have been cases of people that were preconditioned towards schizophrenia that were tipped over the edge by high potency weed.
I'd like to see some links to those claims please. I've heard this before but have never come across any conclusive medical proof that cannabis was at fault.
I consume cannabis and I voted conservative, have voted that way my entire life and so do all my friends who consume.... and hunt.... not necessarily at the same time.... but they are all staunch conservative voters..... except for maybe one.
To convince yourself that it was pot smokers who are responsible for Trudeau getting elected is such a fantasy land concept but if you have zero clue about cannabis or the culture in Canada ..... I guess I could see how some minds might come to that far fetched conclusion.
Carney getting elected is proof in the pudding..... Canadians are just stupid as f*ck ..... they don't even need the weed to be that way apparently.
Growing up in high school, weed wasn't really a thing in my circles. There was some around but it just wasn't on our radar. As I became an adult and was able to consume alcohol legally, I quickly found out it wasn't for me due to severe migraines it would cause and I just needed to a few sips for those to come on. Tried the hashish a few times in my 20's and that was nice, nothing crazy. In 97 when i had my life changing work place injury and the discovery of a birth defect in my spine..... coupled with severe hemophilliac type allergic reactions to a host of pharmaceuticals all the way down to aspirin..... the specialist and gp agreed I should try the pot.
In 1998 a year after my accident , they told me I would most likely be in a wheelchair by the time I was 50. I'm 56 and still walking, still hunting and fishing when I'm able. Nothing but Cannabis for medicine the entire time. No pain killers, nothing... just the weed. I did end up having an episode a few years ago... 4 years ago now? where my issues flared up big time and I found myself on the floor in extremely severe pain and no feeling in my legs at all. Was a scary event and I spent 48hrs in the hospital and then saw a slough of medical professionals afterwards including the top neurosurgeon in the country. They put me on muslce relaxers and nerve blockers and told me I needed to take that crap every day for the rest of my life. Well.... that lasted about a year and due to not liking the side affects.... I weeaned myself off of the gabapentin and cyclobenzaprene after discussions with a pain management specialist the neurosurgeon refered me to. It was agreed that cannabis helps a lot of people with similar issues to mind. So I have been back to only medicating with cannabis and maintaining my quality of life.
say what you want but weed is not the great evil that some folks seem to have convinced themselves it is.
Have another beer if it makes you feel better eh?
