Market for Dlask 13" or 14" Ithaca 37 barrel?

Ithaca used to make such a beast. They called it the "Stakeout" and it was available in 12 and 20 gauge.

Personally, I'm going to be leaving the stocks on all of my short barreled guns. I just don't find them as practical without a proper stock. They do look pretty mean though.

ETA: WTF? I had a picture of the "Stakeout" but it's not showing up.

Now imagin putting a 13/14" barrel on your ithaca combined with a pistol grip!

If I understood the commotion it should be legal no?

If done by a manufacturer and approved by the CFC, then maybe. Done in your garage? Not likely if OAL is less than 660mm. Sorry to sound like the CFC, I'll slap myself a few times...

I sent Dlask a link to the thread. You can try too, his email addy is on his site. From other threads it does sound like he has more than enough going on right now to keep him pretty busy.

He always says that but maybe we just need to push him
need to start a list of people 100% willing to buy one that would get it going.

My S/N starts with a 3 but is 9 numbers long? Could Dlask still fit a 14" to it?

According to my records Ithaca switched to a 3xx,###,### serial number starting in 1969 but as referenced on the first page it just has to be post 855,000 to accept barrel swaps. (no fitting required)

I'd rather have mine fitted to my gun.

I'll throw this out there... the guns had standardized receiver threads / barrels after serial 855,000. Meaning that fitting would not be necessary at all. Much like a modern Remington 870 or Mossberg 500 you just buy (the correct) a barrel and put it on in less than a minute.

All my 37's are pre-serial 855,000
