Market for Dlask 13" or 14" Ithaca 37 barrel?

I'm in for a 14" blue finish plain barrel no bead, no sights ;) for the newer model 87 ( not 37)

Not cheap, maybe way too much but for those who want a 14" barrel for their post 855,000 s/n Ithaca M37...they don't come up every day.
He says M87, but I think they fit either model, correct me if I'm wrong.

Yep, I saw that ad. Ouch!!

M87 basically just means that the barrel will chamber 3" shells. The new Ithaca company has gone back to calling them M37's. I have mine installed on an old M37, fits fine, just be aware that an M37 designed for 2 3/4" will not work with 3", regardless of the barrel, the receiver is too short.

Makes what we paid for ours look like a bargoon eh???:dancingbanana::dancingbanana::agree:

Now wouldn't it be hard to reregister a 13 or 14" as having a barrel less than 470mm
I know that the CFC has been allowing this on Remington recievers and I assume mossbergs would be OK as they come from the factory with short barrels. But if the CFC isn't used to reregistering Ithaca's you might run into a snag.

They had factory 14" guns and barrels...FRT no's exist.
