I bought an SBL a couple years ago, looked ok in the store, but the front sight post is canted and the inside of the barrel looks like it was made with a leatherman. The barrel has so much scaring and tool chatter marks (I know, inspect the thing before you buy it. Well, I know that now, anyway), its practically a miracle it shoots at all. As it is, accuracy is *OK*, but pretty substandard for a new and pricey gun. It also leads up with cast boolits at a shocking rate. What I am looking to find out is who make a reasonably priced (and of decent quality) replacement barrel? I have the 18.5" barrel, and would like to keep it that way. I love the gun but hate how it shoots. Any ideas out there?
