ADK said:I'm actually looking at this same mount on ebay. Can you not rotate it to the upper left or right so that it's parallel to the fore-end? The pic I see on ebay shows it that way.

Wrong Way said:As far as the +1 extension loosening, heres what ya do: De grease the threads (both sets), then heat up the male threads with a heat gun and rub them with a hot-melt glue stick (not alot, just a thin coat) allow to cool, then heat up the female end of the extension and screw it in place.
Wont move until you want it to, if it gives you a hassle coming apart just warm-er up again.
The Wilson +1 extension does not stay on. After 5 or six rounds it loosens up.
geologist said:I used 3 drops of blue LocTite on the mag extension. It stayed nice and tight after a session of 100 birdshot and 40 rounds of slugs and OO buck.
This HP9-1 cycles perfectly and is smooth and really fast.

Fabarms Martial Tactical with 2 chokes and wrench, delivered plus GST: $943
HP9-1 with 2 chokes, wrench, GR sights, +1Mag extension, delivered plus gunsmithing plus GST: $840.
So I saved $100.
But damn this thing shoots well and is RELIABLE. I have put +500 birdshot and + 200 buckshot/slugs through it. It's a heavy shotgun so the recoil with heavy loads is nothing compared to my 18.5" Mossberg 500.
