Marstar AR carbine stocks? Any good??

I just love all the opinions by people who don't have the product. Just because you have had a bad experience with a scope does not mean the stocks are crap. I have both a brand name and a Marstar stock and the only difference is price.

And quality control, manufacturing standards, quality of materials, and so on.

Hey, its your money.

At home, I cheap out and get no name peanut butter, no name mayonnaise and "even "katsup".

My gun parts are all premium.

Mainly, I cheap out on it because I don't give a #### if someone on a web site thinks I'm somehow less of a Heinz Ketchup connoisseur.

YMMV.

I put a Leapers cheek riser pad on the Leapers 4pos and it makes it easy to use with my Leapers red dot sight. Its fast on target, aided by a Leapers foreward grip and the ergonomic Leapers pistol grip. The Leapers flashlight mounted on a Leapers rail keeps the pesky target from hiding in the dark. There, I have said enough (all true) to make the pessimists cringe. WOOT!

Just curious if anyone has tried Marstar's AR bits and pieces.

More specifically, I wanted anyone try the 4 position and/or 6 position AR stocks available here as follows

How sturdy are they? How comparable to your basic adjustable stock as found on your AR?

Are they commercial sized?

I'm a 'you get what you pay for' kind of guy but want a basic, strong AR stock for an adaptor to fit onto an 870 (I'm not about to put on a CTR on a truck gun :p )

Best you check AR15.com for UTG brand stocks. Apparently nobody has the answers to your questions, just a lot of conjecture and usual brand name'ism.

Well, this hasn't been entirely fruitless :)

I had no idea what brand made the stocks Marstar was selling nor how they measured up.

At least we know they are Leapers/UTG, and that it is a commercial buffer tube and stock size.

Deckard seems to have no issues with the 4 pos stock.

Somehow I ended up with a tapco 6pos on mine. I didn't specify what brand stock I wanted, so the guy sent me this one. I havne't heard much about good or bad about this product. it seems to be in the same price line as the marstar/leaper brand. are they the made by the same manuf but mkt differently?
there doesn't seem to be much of a mkt for tapco in canada...

From those who have the Leapers(and suspected Leapers ) stocks, how is the fit of the stock on the buffer tube(much rattling? tight?)? How is the buffer tube that came with the stock(stength, fit to receiver, etc)?
