Is anybody else wondering why, when we are in a full on economic crisis, that the RCMP/CFC/Canadian Government (whom ever it is!) are putting holds on or reclassifying tens of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise that will sell, or is already sold. The reclassification of these rifles alone would cost John and Marstar thousands of dollars in sales, and if this type of thing keeps happening it would cripple and or bankrupt many stores and dealers in the industry. How would that help a struggling economy?
The government should be embracing the fact that hundreds if not thousands of legal Canadian gun owners are ready and willing to spend their hard earned money on these types of rifles just because they look cool. They are clearly going the wrong direction with this, instead of classing more firearms as prohibited, they should be classing more as non-restricted, or restricted to make them more readily available to honest, and law abiding gun owners. I know it would be minuscule but it would put some money into the economy, and right now every little bit helps.
