Marstar, would you consider bringing in Norinco 97 bullpups?

Would you buy this bullpup from Marstar?

I refuse to support anything made by the Chinese if I can help it. Especially considering their business is to arm the enemy (and we're supporting that)?

Marstar don't to it.

Considering so many products are now made in China, your house, garage and (likely) place of employment would be empty if you really did abide by this theory. And given that a large portion of their business is dealing Norc products, your vision would have Marstar go out of business.

No Marstar means lost jobs and far fewer guns available to Canadians.

Marstar...please do it.

The more Chinese products we buy, the more they see the benefits of capitalism. The more they see the benefits of capitalism, the more citizens who won't take the short end of the stick.

Buy Chinese and forward the Capitalist Chinese Revolution!

Why don't you start an anti-Chinese gov't/economy/guns/products thread instead of highjacking ours? The poll should have been a hint. Please start that thread!

Maybe you should put the 'eye ball' back as your avatar....obviously Santa ain't havin no impact on smarts for the masses...

Bring'mn' on Marstar......I've got money to burn, and 'prohib bullpups:p' ta' spend it on...
Got the Tavor cost covered, the XCR covered, now lookin' to spend a bit less than Levers' 1450+PST+GST+"You don't look familiar, so here's some attatood so you feel like dog s**t" price jack on an 'almost' non restricted.

If I was going to sproing, it would be for the shorty restricted '97A, certainly not the borderline '97; ain't worth it, for bein able to get an AR at the same same price break....

many newcomers to the world of firearms have entered with a cheaper chinese built firearm in their hands. i was one of them.
now ive graduated to fine american and european products. but i still have, love, and will never sell my sks.
sure, they may make a weapon with my dollar. they may outfit a reservist peasant with the same sks i started with. but i leave for bmq in january, so it evens out.

as a chink, i wanted to buy a norinco .22 as my first gun, but didnt(mossberg instead)
then i wanted to buy a CQ311 as my second gun, but didnt(CZ858 instead)
was checking out the 97A at levers the other day,
but ordered a tavor instead, believe its made in israel :yingyang:
i love the fact that in canada i'm allowed to buy chinese made firearms,
whereas in US i wont be,
so, i'll definately get a 97A from marstar
heck, i'll get 2 if the price is right... :)

I like this kind of pistol grip lower. I would probably use that little foregrip for standing position shooting.

Note the importers:
There are some versions of the 97 without a bolt hold open device. Don't let them send those to us.

The LMG version of the 97 has a 21.9inch barrel. This wouldn't bother me one bit. If the price was good enough, I'd buy two, getting the shorty 12.8inch version (2581 fps).

I was at Lever Arms yesterday and took a look.
I thought they looked more impressive in person than the pictures do justice.
Lever is negotiating to get the longer barreled sniper version brought in, but no promises.

OK FELLAS;
While we appreciate your support and confidence it is somewhat early for us to discuss this matter further....

Suffice to say that we are looking at it seriously, IF we do anything with it you can expect our usual warranty policy as well as our lower prices....
John

Well at least you guys are giving it good thought. You remain very professional with your answer btw :D heh..

Hopefully things are good and you go ahead, we need a friggen bullpup thats non-restricted, good price and soon to be very common.
