CZ is known to have a smaller bore dia. than other .22s
The "CZ match" chamber is no less than 5.72mm (0.2252") at the shoulder, which is as small as permitted by CIP standards. This is not too tight for a .22LR cleaning rod, which will be less than .22" in diameter. The reason why some .22 rods don't work well in many CZ bolt .22LR regardless of model is because the CZ ejector interferes with the rod.
The best solution is to use a .20 cal cleaning rod which will clear the ejector. Pro Shot makes a very good one-piece stainless rod. Nordic Marksman is one site sponsor that carries them.
I got a one piece 17 cal rod from reliable gun ($50) and the adapter from midsouth shoot in US ($8). Works fine.
i ended up buying a .17-.20 42” Tipton carbon rod on cabela’s for 59$ and a dewey adapter off amazon for 15$
This is exactly what I have. Works like a charm!
