As an inexpensive option...

Amzoom has the Weaver Quad Lcck extension rings. They hold up to a 7.92x57 M70. For the last 60 shots at least.

High rings with a 42mm scope objective plus flip up covers clear the barrel contour by 4mm. Bolt handle has about same clearance, so no race marks on scope or bolt handle...

Use 'extention rings' to move your eye relief closer (since its already tapped).

However, or Bad Ace Tactical has a M98 specific Pictanny Rail for a Scout Scope set up - its easy to install and works perfect. Note that their K98 model does not work on a M98 - you have to get the M98 specific one ... Ken
