Load, shoot, repeat.
20 years, 5 - 10,000 rounds, field stripped & cleaned ONCE 10 years ago - otherwise, the only cleaning it gets is a liberal spray of WD-40 and then throw a rag in it's general direction at the end of each Duck Season. 0 mechanical failures. And that is the "old" version with only the single rail on the forestock - I'm told the newer double rails ones are even better - though I'm not sure how you could improve on the results I've had.
This is not my "kick around gun", but the one I rely on to get the job done when I'm out hunting, etc..
It lives in the bottom of the canoe with the mud & slop, has been used as a paddle, you name it, I've probably done it to it. Short of packing it so full of mud or ice that is simply didn't have room to move, it hasnever failed me. And even then, a quick rinse with river water and it was good to go again.
Best $200 I have ever spent.
IF this one ever finally gives up the ghost, I'll buy another the same day.
