Thats probably worth more than a rifle! My uncle tossed a whole bunch of those toys in the trash years ago.

Always hate hearing people say that. But I guess that's why things go up in value. As time goes by stuff gets thrown out, lost, burned or whatever making them more rare and valuable to collectors.

Norwegian K98 All-Matching

Here she is. It is a 243 1940. Mauser-Werke, A.-G. Werke Borsigwalde, Berlin for production years 1938 to 1940. The resident inspector office No. for that run was Wa26. Which is stamped everywhere too.

Nice Norwegian! P&S? Is the rifle all matching to the original serial number aside from the renumbered receiver? Are the stock cartouches intact?

I was totally surprized about the matching. Everything almost is marked. Even the locking screws both have the last two original numbers. Stock both lower and handguard matched, butt plate, everything is also correctly inspection stamped, Wa26, for the 243 code 1940.

Nope, not P&D, I picked it up from Shoot!!!, (another CGNer) and local collector in the Edmonton Area.
