Hope it's OK if I start this one.
Picked this one up at the end of April but didn’t have time for photos until today.
It’s my second matching No4Mk1(T) in as many months! It’s a 1945 BSA with a “T” serial number prefix. How cool is that.

You got to wonder what dark armory they sat in they look like they are pretty minty in as much the scope cases look to new, none the less wonderful purchases I amsure you are broke or going broke, hope the numbers are close together? did you find them both in BC?

Yes I'm quite broke. However the price of these things is going in the opposite direction of my RRSP's so they are also a bit of an investment.
This months rifle was placed into storage in 1962 and from the looks of things was sold without having seen any further service at some point later.
This months rifle has a "T" serial number prefix and the other is a "U" so not consecutive but very close cousins. Both came out of Ontario and were on the EE.

This is the tag on the scope tin showing '62 inspection date:

Well…An L39, L42, Envoy, Enforcer, Long Branch No4T and a Parker Hale T4 would be a nice start.
Oh and your 1941 and 1949 Long Branch No4’s just for good measure.

Great idea! I might even consider selling my “U” prefix one if the offer/trade was right.

Ya.. It has the same Brunofixing finish. This rifle is in a bit nicer shape overall and has all the same correct marks as the one I got from you except the magazine has the serial number as well. The “T” prefix chest has the rifle serial number on the tag but not the scope number like the “U” prefix but over all the chest is in better shape and very nicely marked so is a wash. Plus all the extra and rarely seen tags on the scope tin as well as the contents are just so cool. Interestingly the scope tin sling is Canadian marked which goes nicely with my Canadian marked M1907 sling.

For everyone else thanks for your kind words. I truly feel lucky to own these rifles.
 
Well, since the thread is going, I will add to it. Just picked this up tonight, my first restricted! Will be heading to the range tomorrow to burn some powder and see if I can establish some decent technique. It's a Norinco NP-34 (Sig P228 clone) with 4 mags and Hogue grips.

Finally got my hands on the MAS 1935S M1 pistol I bought from a board member last week - this thing is almost mint!

No 5 Mk 1, ROF (F) September 1945. The first rifle I bought, although I bought a .22 and took it home before this one came in the mail. 40 rounds through it so far and I'll put another hundred down the pipe this weekend! So excited.

I finally managed to snag a Portuguese contract k98. Looks like the Germans held on to this one for themselves though. Sorry for the crappy pic, no room to set up well lit backround.

I just couldn’t resist. I might even consider looking for one of the unissued ones now. I may even have to add a few other Russian rifles to the collection. They sure are cheep compared to what I usually collect.
I’ve had several SKS’s over the years (almost all Norinco) but this is by far the best. I’ve also had several Mosins as well but never kept any. After all they aren’t Enfields. I’ve now been thinking one of the 91/30 sniper referbs would look nice with my 2 No4T’s and M1D.
Anyway this ones a referb’ed 1951 with a replacement laminate stock. It’s one of the painted ones which is good as this rifle is going to be used and we get a bit of rain here on the island.
