Mcmillan Stocks Sold!

This is turning into a big disappointment
Yup. One of the big draws to McM was the almost endless options. But it's also not surprising the new ownership has chosen to streamline somewhat. The segment has gotten much more competitive than even a decade ago.
Changed to what? The current hunters edge is perfect. The classic rifle mans lines from years ago. Slim and lightweight. I’ve owned half dozen of them. If you like a more vertical grip, the HTG cam in at the same weight, but wasn’t my thing...
Perfect is definitely subjective. I like the Hunters Edge and have owned a few myself. The light weight and proportions are great. Ergonomics like comb- and depending on preference, grip- not so much. At least for myself and the guys I hunt/shoot with.

Whoever is installing the sling swivel studs now needs to be replaced.

Two stocks in the last 3 months, crooked fronts and a chipped rear.

Agreed. The top one was returned. The white one I just received. I’m going to get my gunsmith to fix it. I sent McMillan my feedback. Hopefully they improve.

Ouch...sorry to see that's what you got, again.

Not boding well, was hoping to place an order in the not too far future.
