To the OP - they are great chassis to run with your rimfires. I have one for my 64 action Anschutz and will be getting one for my 54 action. I did modify one for the Fortner action and it works wickedly good.

Yep I did.... LOL but is wasn't about finances. it was about cost to manufacture this item over retail cost is more what I might have a beef with.
In my defense, I go to work deal with sh!t heads all day long get rev'ed up and start sh!t here in CGN as I'm still rev'ed up from work.
Dealing with drug dealers, gang members & public intox all day long 5 days a week would drive most insane.
I like the stock just can't justify the cost. IMO I don't think it's worth the $400+ also don't you find the trigger guard too wide? At least it looks like it is. Where did you get the folding adaptor?
The last picture is starting to grow on me, saying that if one turns up on EE for around $300 I would think about it. if your in the PRS shooting then this is a good match for a trainer.
for the money a Boyd's stock is still my first choice.

That looks great. I'm pretty excited to get mine.
You need to de-stress prior to posting! Lol Try looking at a Manners folder if you want to compare cost! This is worth every penny and is Canadian made. Its worth it to spoil yourself once in a while!
The trigger guard is perfect even with heavy winter gloves on. Its nice the way its inlet as the bottom mag release is more exposed now and is easy to use (a nice improvement from the original Anschutz stock when wearing gloves). A very light unit too and is very nice in hand even if it looks a little short. Just wish they would chop an inch off the ass and add three to the forearm.(like the LSS XL but for the AR stocks) A very modular design where you can add any type of stock or pistol grip. The folder is MDT's and locks up solid with no movement. The bottom one pictured measures at 26.25" folded, its perfect!
I'll sell you this one if my 1712 replaces my 1417

As for the stock pretty cool but a shame not an option for the cz 452.
So did anyone actually notice an improvement in accuracy. After all, that is the main draw for this chassis, isn't it? I have a 64 Anschutz that I'm thinking of putting in this, especially if it does improve accuracy.

So far on average my groups have become a little smaller. It's not a huge difference but there is a difference for sure.
I wasn't so sure at first either but other than shooting off hand I prefer shooting it in the chassis. The ergo's are better for me. Nice not to have to be so concerned about the nice wood stock when out and about.
The main draw for me was a solid forearm, with no flex (better accuracy) and a folding stock to reduce length while stored or while in the canoe. Its great not to worry about rain or damage to the wood when out in the rough stuff. Very easy to switch between the two. Very nice to be able to adjust the LOP as well.
The Fortner action needed a lot of mods to the original 54 chassis. I only had a cheap cordless drill and hand files so would be easier with proper tools! You need to drill a new action screw hole in front of the trigger guard, drill out the inlet to make room for a larger trigger assembly and cut down the side for the bolt handle to move back and dish out the rear for the bolt to move back and, and, lol. A fair bit of fitting required. Would be great if MDT did a factory inlet for this as all the Fortners could then used, both the 1727F and the 1827F. I can have a beautiful wood stock on for the nice days at the range/woods and a folder for when I am out in the rough stuff! Best of both worlds with a very accurate rifle.

I was thinking about it but couldn't justify spending that much on a stock for a rifle with only mediocre accuracy. So I sold my Ruger and will likely be looking for a Savage Mk II TR. I started a thread in the RAR subsection on Rimfire Central and someone there had purchased one for theirs. They liked it but had not noticed any increase in accuracy.
Couldn't agree more. If it doesn't improve accuracy why waste your money. If they release a model for the CZ455 you'll have lots of guys with $1100- $1200 shooter's that wished they had the accuracy of a 64 action for the same money.
