Meaford Long Range Steel Challenge (2-day PRS points race match)

We could try and squad you with another TRG-22 shooter. You could also hand feed a few of the rounds. Some stages, we can probably make 1 mag work.

Epps has one in stock for $319

I really wanted to try and make this work but my wedding is the next weekend and I got the "sure dear go ahead do what you want" and I know it's a trap.

the only thing that makes it easier to not go is knowing this will be a huge success and there will be more in the future.

So.... Move the wedding! J/k

I am getting married 2 weeks before. Meaford wasn't her honeymoon destination, but it will be mine! Lol. Signed up on the weekend.

Thanks! And also thanks to the over 25 range staff members who are donating their long weekend and more to make this happen and make it happen SAFELY!

Probably 2 sessions, morning and afternoon. we will incorporate the new shooter clinic into it so that everyone understands the safety procedures.

Just going through the rules for equipment in hopes of taking part next year.
First, is there going to be a next year?
Second, I don't see where I would fit in with my bolt guns.
I have a 700 that has had a new chamber cut in it and bedded.
I also have a Kimber advanced tactical.
I have never shot one of these matches before AND I just turned 59.
That leaves me with a AR 16" with a C79 scope or a #4 rifle with iron sites. :)
What would be my choices to take part?
Thanks

As long as we are allowed to use the facility again there will be a match next year.

The rules are quite simple: if you're shooting a 223 or a 308, you're in tactical division, otherwise you're in Open. 59>50, so Class is Sr.

Max caliber is 30 cal.
Max bullet weight is 180 gr.
Max velocity is 3150 fps avg.

This thread is way too quiet! We're closing in on 2 weeks away. I've not shot a match like this before and I'm very much looking forward to the challenge and learning from watching some good shooters.

Me too. I really need to know what barricades they plan to set up so I'll know if I need to bring a small bag, a large bag, etc for support. I need to see some pictures. Can't wait to shoot this event.
