Melting wheel weights for bullet casting - all you need to know

I stocked up years ago. They were selling them, but as I was a regular customer, I got them free. 20 liter plastic pails are #### for hauling wheel weights BTW. split big time They filled the damned things right to the top. Even back then, the zinc stuff was starting to show up. Never much liked the stick on ones, they stink and smoke a lot. A buddy got me a pail from a truck stop, that was awesome, some of the weights were 1/4 lb!

Thanks for your help! Just did my first melt last night could not have gone better. Now I just need more lead!

Not like in the old days when you used to get the round cast with the handle attached. Dad had alot of them back in the day and now they are almost all used up
