Mentoring

well maybe a bunch of us newbies should just get together and do a hunt, if there are no "mentors" around A couple of books/dvd's and a larger then normal group to start and as our skills develop we can break into smaller groups and be in a possition to at least help other new guys to get started. Just a thought.

Still looking for a waterfowling mentor around Ottawa. Will provide all the 3" BB steel you can shoot (bought a case of Remington).

Looking for a partner-mentor in Calgary

Hello everybody. My name is Leon. I'm 36, new hunter with a little previous experience and would like to get new friends with experience in waterfowl and grouse hunting. I live in Calgary NW and will supply my 4x4 Tacoma and inflatable boat (paddles!) for hunting trips. Good to go for a few days as well, even weekdays are fine.
If you are newbie like me and don't have a partner, you are welcome as well.

I'm looking for a mentor, I want to try Coyote hunting or any kind of bird hunting, I've never been before but I do have my Hunting license and own a few pump shotguns and .22 rifle. I used to have a Tikka T3 Varmint in .223 but never went hunting so traded it for an AR-15 but if someone was willing to take me and show me the ropes I'd buy another .223 or .243 :) PM me if your interested.

Thanks,
Josh

Bump, anyone from London area interested in taking a noobie out hunting for coyote/rabbits/birds/just about anything? :)

Thanks,
Josh

Have Lab will travel, not too far mind you. Looking for anyone who hunts waterfowl but has no dog. Upland hunter myself, not a big fan of duck or goose, but my Lab would love a shot at bringing in a big honker. You shoot he retrieves, any takers?

I am expecting to receive my PAL within a couple of weeks. As a newbie I would like to hook up with anyone going hunting in Ontario. I am easy going, athletic and one that appreciates rational thinking. So if anyone out there willing to take me on a hunting experience, I'll be really grateful.

that is a great idea. AS soon as I receive my PAL, expected within 28 days, count me in

Sorry for the silly question but do you have a hunting licence? an outdoors card? If you don't have that you cannot be out hunting regardless of your PAL. :) sorry again if you already knew this.

Goodluck

Cheers
