Who knows, more good things may come from this type 81 classification.

Did you guys know Norinco has a less expensive answer to the scar 308, that is based on the type 81? This is currently for militaries but now that type 81 has been given a green light, I wouldn't be too surprised to see this rifle produced in a semi auto fashion and just the same as type 81 and type 97. A non restricted, affordable scar 308 alternative would be very popular here. Maybe someday.

"NAR-10 (also known as CS/LR-14) automatic rifle is a recent development of the Chinese state-owned NORINCO corporation. It is intended to compete with more expensive 7.62 NATO automatic rifles (such as FN SCAR-H or HK 417) on third world markets. NAR-10 or CS/LR-14 automatic rifle is based on proven and tested 7.62x39 mm Type 81 assault rifle, with basic construction stretched and strengthened to fire noticeably more powerful 7.62 NATO ammunition."

Yup, I thought I would be cool with my metal side folder Vz, well they suck to shoot.

So Fixed stock Type 81 for this guy... I got to play with an underfolder and a Afghan capture AK and underfolder are brutal. I also touched a real victoria cross that day !!!

Underfolder AK even more brutal when you change mags.

So we've dreamt enough about what we can put on Type81 which is not in Canada yet and nobody knows when it will be produced and imported, and now we are starting to imagine what we could put on what manufacturer could possibly make and what is not even made for civil use and not classified. You guys are way over optimistic.

We our an oppressed community, let us dream.

I am glad to see this coming in from an economic standpoint. With the really weak Canadian dollar we need something like this to generate revenue for the importers, distributors and dealers. This will be that.
