Received a gunsmithing screwdriver kit, Santa rocks! :)

Happy holidays everyone, may you have good times with loved ones (and some range time too, ideally)

Merry Christmas to all you fellow milsurp gunnutters. Christmas gift cash has a 577 Snider on its way here. Best wishes in the New Year to all of you.

Ho Ho Ho!!!! Santa looked a lot like me! He brought me that 1941 Portugese Contract rifle. Mrs. Santa offered to pay for it, though!!

Merry Christmas to all!!!!!

It's been said before and it will be said again and it's one of those things which really can't be said too often.

Christmas/Year-end/Saturnalia/Mother Night/Yule/Jul/Weihachten/The Black Nights/Midwinter Sacrifice of Mithras/call it what you will, has been, for 5000 years that we know of, a time of peace and goodwill and celebration and gifting, from one civilisation to the next and to the next and it shows no sign of letting up (except possibly to the anally-retentive Socialists who believe only in higher taxes for everyone else).

We might as well keep it

Here, it will be just a few friends (Smellie, Twosteam, Buffdog and Karl the Mathematician), Miss Dufis B Underfoot and a turkey that was too big to run fast. We have an entire bottle (one) of Tsingtao beer with which to salute the Kaiser.... and enough yummies to give us all teenage zits for the next month.

And so a very Happy Christmas to all...... and a Merry New Year to follow!

Good collecting in 2013: the Centenary of the Great Ross Clean-up at Bisley!

Seasons Greetings and Happy Holidays friends.

I spent yesterday cleaning, sanding and refinishing a Parker Hale No.1 Sporter that I'll post pics of soon.

Tomorrow I'm taking my new Tokarev TT-33 to the range with some friends.

What an awesome Christmas this year! Stayed home with my fiancee and our kids, little man's first! My Lady made her first turkey and trimmings and oh man was it good.

-30 plus winchill so no range time, but my Lady bought me a minty No4 Mk1/3 '44 Longbranch Faz refurb sporter with an absolutely perfect '50 dated Faz barrel from another CGNer (thanks btw this rifle is going to rock!), so I'm getting a great start on the replica 4T I've been wanting to build so bad. Turned into a great Christmas! Second year in a row she's bought me a Longbranch...:)

Merry Christmas all!
