I know in the US donating it to a museum would generate a tax credit. Not sure up here. I can't see him getting more than 20 k. Very limited market. Its a great lawn decoration and id love to have it beside my half track but not for what he needs outta it.
The drivetrain is modern. There is a website somewhere showing the build done in stages. They pretty well built the hull, torsion bar suspension, bogeys, etc, as per Tiger, and then dropped in a modern engine, trans, and modern front and rear sprockets.
