Hello, all.
I came across a few mg13 mags. Would there be any interest for them on the estand?
Unmodified for a G43 right now but I believe I could price them out at $120 wash modified.

I forgot to add... An unmodified one I would say about $90.
There are 9 magazines total.

I'm betting a typical G43 mag at 180+ and an authentic one at that. That a few may be interested.
And since a G43 owner knows about expenses anyways its not that far fetched. Unless if youre like one of those BMW of Audi owners that paid that price and now has the vehciles oil done at Canadian Tire instead of the dealership.

I suppose to sweeten the deal a bit I could add 5 rounds with each magazine sale.

No offense, and I have no idea about the mags, but getting your oil changed at audi of bmw is a straight up waste of money. Lol. You think the techs at bmw some how do a better job of loosen the drainplug or something. Haha.

As for the mags, originals are $$$ so guys who shoot them may def be interested, and G43 looks badassed with the long mag!

It's been done before. TradEx had a non restricted Mauser action with an mg13 magazine welded to the bottom. I would imagine if you did the weld and then de-pinned it you should be ok. Can't exactly fit it into an mg if it's welded to the bottom of another rifle.

you already have the mg13 magazines , or are you considering bringing them in ?

i would be interested in a couple if 120.00 each was the final in my hand price ( ie 120 shipped ) .

here is the cool part , these mags work in the ag42 and hakim rifles with some minor tweaking .

I still think it has to be limited. It was built for semi auto, so it will always be a semi mag, no matter how you alter it. Same works in reverse for the LAR15 mags. Built for pistol, what you do with them isnt the issue.

this is a huge grey area .....

common sense says that as long as the newly created bolt action magazine cannot be fitted back into the semi auto / auto rifle , then the limit to 5 rounds can then be removed .......
a person might have to place a series of calls to the cfc to get this figured out

it would probally be easier just to build a mag from scratch for a bolt action

For the weld and fitment I bought an MG13 mag off of here. It fits the G43 quite nice.
As for the k98 I have never heard of one of these mags being welded to a k98 I have heard of the WW1 trench magazines though.

Yes I do believe as a bolt action there is no mag restrictions. But these are coming pinned, I will post a picture of the mag I am talking about.

Yes, no bolt action mag limits. But as far as I know, once a semi/auto mag always a semi auto mag. No way to change what it was originally intended/designed for.

Just get a 20 round trench mag. Totally legal and already fits your mauser

Now you're just being a Negative Nancy.

Then again if someone really wanted to mess with their K98 for try and shove something obtuse into an oblong hole then so be it.

PS: I wouldnt recommend wrecking any K98 in hopes of trying to fit in more rounds.

This is a photo of the modified Mg13 for fitment to the G43.

Would these fit in the Egyptian Hakim as well?

Sounds like they could.
But that would be up to you to make them fit. I purchased the one off of the eStand to give me a sort of blue print on where to put the locking clip for the G43. I would need to see a Hakim to find where the locking clip sits in the mechanism.
