Anyone have any experience with this scope?

I was hoping it might be do till I can afford something I really want.

I have one and I like it. Use it like a red dot at 1x. The 4x lets you go long. Clear glass, clean non-cluttered reticle, easy to use. Good bang for the $$, IMHO.

What do you really want?

I'll upgrade to ACOG or Leupold MK4 CQ/T at some point.

I used one on my bush gun for a year....great scope. All that was said above is correct, but I did find the scope REALLY heavy for the size.

I have one on my Swiss Arms Classic Green.
I really like it. Its glass is clear. The donut dot is easy to use.

Once you use it. I doubt you will replace it!

Is the 1x really 1x, or slightly higher (in other words, is it a red dot scope in the 1x setting)?

It is a true 1X. I had to adjust mine slightly out of the box to get the true 1X (reflex) sight picture, but once set it was perfect.

Just got mine in the mail yesterday from Marlin @ Frontier. Looks & feels very solid. Clear glass. Nice reticle. Planning to mount & test this weekend on my Stag AR-15.

Better hurry. I think Frontier only got 6 in total.

Actually at that price I'm sure it's a better deal than a short dot - it might not be as precise, or even as rugged (I can guarantee it's not as 'tacticool') but at a little more than 10% of the cost it sure sounds good to me.

That is a good deal. I bought one from Phil at the Calgary Gun Show... $50 bucks less than other dealers.

Yes. It's an etched reticle, so even if it's too bright to see the illumination, the reticle is in full view (only black). Same goes for battery failure...the scope is still 100% useable (except in the dark )

they are great sights, had one that travelled from my 870 to my mossberg 702 and to my m14 .. worked great for all applications.. im thinking about one for my deer rifle
