Prices will go up. Even without the bayonet these are still as close to factory condition Mosins (Russian) as you will find. That alone makes them worth $1K, never mind the incredible rarity. So you didn't double your money in a month... boo hoo. It will come.
I bought two myself, not with the intention of flipping one for profit, but to have one that will remain as is and another that I will shoot, because I really have to know how these guns perform in factory condition. So in my case, I'm actually going to devalue my second one. Unfortunately I didn't get my planned Mosin range day this year, come spring though...
