milsurp alert!! - check this out!

It's interesting the difference in the markets Canada vs the US. These have a hard time selling at $895 right now and never got to the $2000 mark. The only special thing is the bayonet.
One from Canada sold for $415 USD in Jan and another on eBay on Aug 27 for $332.90 So I guess someone is parting them out.

Then that's a put together fake 91/30/43 Turd if you are taking a "special thing bayonet" from a parted out rifle and putting it on a non special 91/30 that never was a 91/30/43.

Your comment "the only thing special is the bayonet".

What a crock of Sh/t that is!

The original rifle with the original bayonet make it what it is. When the two are separated it's nada worth a crap.

You can't take the scope and mount of a matching K98 High Turret Sniper Rifle and put that scope and mount on a Russian Capture K98 and say Look I got another matching sniper rifle!
But then again, this is just CGN.

Ok, so the Mosin is lightly refurbed 1943 at worst, at best the Mosin is a superb WWII era near mint M91/30 (considering mass production of M91/30 was ended in Feb 44).
Some have hacked/notched out stocks or a flat spot or variation of the to accommodate the folding bayonet. The stamps on the rifles are very nice and unmolested.
Serial numbers all match size and font. No electro pencil = nice. Are the bayonets serialized? haven't seen that?

FYI, I'm not selling bayonets nor advocating the disassembly of collectible firearms. I noted the difference between the US and Canada. An pointed out that at least 2 units
have been parted out. Realistically, the 100 units that came here are rare and "the only thing special is the bayonet" yes, a rare bayonet with a vintage period rifle attached (see above).

I am sure more info will come out about these rifles, but things kinda got cold on the US forums about Canada's haul in 2017.

Basically all these guns are light refurbs and in some cases non-refurbs, not the same as the typical refurb hack job from the 60's and 70's that we've seen these last 20 years.

The bayonets arent serialized, but once a rifle has one fitted, some of the mods are not reversible.

Slapping this bayonet on any old 81/39 Ukrainian refurb does not mean. You have a 91/39/43 anymore than cutting one down to mimic a 91/59 makes that rifle a real 91/59.
