EMT is in my opinion the easiest way to make a financial transaction over the EE. If you have any questions on the security of it, raise them with your bank over the phone like I did and they will put your mind at ease.
Why do some guys cut off about 40% of their customers when selling Milsurps (and other products) by saying EMT ONLY.....and will not even consider other instruments of commerce. Are sales that good or am I missing something here.
Many of us old timers do not use, nor feel comfortable using on line banking and the internet to send money. (FRAUD ALERT) is bad enough but at least you don't have a direct pipeline into your bank account. I realize (FRAUD ALERT) is anti gun and is part of Eslime, but at least you can do it discretely.
Almost as bad as the number of people that crap out on you on a deal. They chisel you down on a deal and when you agree on a price you never hear from them again. This is happening more and more here with lots of the "big sellers and buyers".
Is it just me or ??????
If this is out of place here just zap it, but it seems to be worse on the Milsurps EE.

I forgot about that lovely service. I refuse to use it too (long story)You had me on everything but (FRAUD ALERT). You dont feel comfortable with EMT by the big banks, but trust (FRAUD ALERT)????? I suggest you do a bit of research and see how un-safe (FRAUD ALERT) really is.

For me I like to use money orders or bank payments, old school thinking I guess, I'm an old guy also and not confident of EMT, the younger generation does have all the gadjets for electronic emails and so on but a deal is a deal, if you do not live up to your commitments then you are a snake, unless of course your reason is acceptable by the seller.Full disclosure goes a long way.
I pay my bills and anyone here that sold me anything gets paid quick as can be, some fellows ship really fast and some ahead of payment--thankyou for that men as you know who you are.
I share Joe N's concerns about giving out address'es as you do not know who reads these comments, just ship elsewhere if possible.
Many times I pass right on by with adds that simply state EMT only, some if I really like the item it is quick to send a PM and state to the buyer that you either are not set up for EMT or credit union not compatible, and pose the question about other forms of payment.
It is the same at gun shows, lots of lost sales due to no debit cards or visa/mastercard machines--cash talks at gun shows.
Anyway it is the sellers goods so he has the right to determine payment form, and if he does not accept anything but EMT thems the brakes.
