Sidewinder

Gary, Here is a picture of the Sidewinder but with a short barrel. The main difference between the mini-master & the Sidewinder is the swing-out cylinder verses a drop out cylinder. It would not of been in the catalogued that you received because it does not start production till July. This picture was posted earlier but easier to show it again. Tell us what you need as a commitment. Thanks.

Hey Gary, these revolvers can also get a Long rifle "conversion" cylinders and will be available for $79.00 each U.S. I am sure many would want this accessory too.
 
They actually have not released pricing on the Sidewinder as of yet. Looking to have something firm in July. But if i had to guess the 4.2`` would land 5-10% more then the mini-master at most. The Sidewinders looks to be a ways off though as they have nothing designed or in place for international yet....
 
I was on the NAA forums back when Foward Thinker first drew my attention to the Sidewinder.

On their forums, NAA has confirmed that they will make 4.2" barreled Sidewinders and that they wil be happy to supply Canadian dealers. The ony thing is that the long barreled ones will be made last...
 
Well this is very good news. Wanstalls has established a relationship with NAA. Full production starts in July and we could all be at the range by September shooting our new Sidewinders. Now next month when Wanstalls gets a price on these baby's, us CGN members that would like one or two of these little revolvers my have to step up to the plate and give them some sort of commitment to bring up a special order to Canada. North American Arms are very rare in Canada being that they specialize in small pocket pistols. This means a Canadian order with proper barrel length has to be made. Watching some youtube videos, the longer barrel is a better product. Many of the guys shooting in the U.S.A. have a difficult time getting on target with a 1 or 2 inch barrel and the ones with longer barrels are surprised how accurate they can be. The frame of the sidewinder may be very compact but the 4.2 inch barrel will surprise people at the range how accurate they are. Long story short, we end up with a better product and when the time comes get one while you can because they will be pre-ordered and all sold before they even hit the store.
 
Well, assuming they let you mix what you order, I'd be in for a mini-master with dual cylinders and the adjustable sights, but if you can only order sidewinders, I guess I'd be ok with that, but I'd prefer the mini-master.
 
My Mini Master will be up for sale once the Sidewinder is available, and I'm sure there will be a few more selling theirs when they get the swing-out.
 
I'll take a sidewinder in 22 mag. Let me know what you need for a deposit and I'll come into the store with it :)
If they do come up with the LR I'll take one of those too.

I was just on the NAA website and on it's forum they are having a early bird pre-purchase till the end of the month on short barrel sidewinders. After that is done it will be open for business for Canada. These babies are too cool to miss out on. I'm waiting on the edge of my seat. I hope Wanstalls can come thru for us CGN guys.
