Some good ideas in this thread...I almost forgot Canam's little .22 cz clone...if they arrive they would be pretty handy as well.

Since this thread seems to have lost momemtum...maybe I could redirect it in another direction: What would be your perfect survival stock? Would you want to be able to store ammo in it? Would you want to be able to store some basic survival items in it as well or are you more of the mentality that your survival basics (knife, firestarting kit, etc) should be kept on your person at all times?

Or a Cooey Ace I, 16" barrel, make your own stock... fits in a map tube and rolls around the bottom of a canoe quite nicely.
Could take measurements if you want, I bet it could be done out of wood too.
It's a SS tube for the stock, holds 12rds.
