Wonder if anyone else is experiencing this with their M&P 22 or what the possible fix is. Been to the range twice now with it and have fired roughly 200 plus rounds through it using Winchester bulk package 1280 FPS ammo.
The gun will not cycle the first round to chamber the next and does not completely open to extract the second round or if it does it doesn't go all the way back to catch the next shell.
The next eight shells after that the gun runs like a champ, no issues at all. So, thinking it had to do with ten rounds in the magazine, I just loaded up five and the same thing happened, first two hung up and the remaining three worked. So then I ran the magazine with five and then quickly replaced it with a ten round mag (I have three of them) and no issues at all.
So after some more testing I came to the conclusion that if I let the gun sit for a couple of minutes between magazines it takes a bit to "warm" up the slide to work properly because as long as I keep firing there are no issues at all.
The gun is new and I cleaned it before the first range session and then again before the second thinking maybe I didn't do a good enough job the first time. I oiled the gun as per instructions found within the owners manual.
Anyone else finding the same happening to their M&P 22
