Just wondering if anyone else has had parcels dissapear after tracking into the Quebec Montreal sortation plant ?

I have never lost anything anywhere else at Missasauga or Vancouver but that nice 3 barrel marston has vanished.
Scans at that plant over a week ago then nothing after that. normally its two or three days tops to my place after it leaves there.
I been pretty lucky but it sucks to have something get thru customs just to be possibly taken by a postal chimp :(
CP they wont do anything dont even care they say its the shipper has to start a search.
thats a huge plant so theres some hope i guess.

I've had stuff disappear from both Quebec and Missasauga. Both reappeared in the form of a failed delivery slip at my front door while I was at home. It seems while they're missing they're given stealth training to help evade the anxious recieving party :p

That sucks... for me, so far, they've been good... I've received literally hundreds of packages I ordered online (ebay, CGN, other places) and everything's always made it here, whether it's tracked or not.

I'm sure it'll turn up eventually. Sometimes my packages take a lot longer than usual too, but they always get to my door in the end.

I ship "Protected B" documents with CP priority/signature every couple weeks for work. I recently had one go missing. Turned out somone had put he package on some back counter or something. It sat in the local PO for a month.

Missasauga was my scourge! Had care packages from family disappear there.
No surprize, about 6 months later there was a big bust right there, for theft via CP employees.

don't sweat it yet...

My last purchase was shipped priority from kentucky nov 8, arrived Missisauga Nov11, delivered to the house Dec 16. nearly 5 weeks in Missisauga but it did come. It had the antique letter with it, too.

i lost a csa sa 58 in fredericton. even the post office said it was signed for. after i called the rcmp, it turned up in the sub contractor office who delivers in my area. they never could explain who sighned for it or why it was in the office.

Ok good to know. Mine did clear customs eh,
its the postal plant in Montreal last scan early 12th jan but i never had anything shiped priority mail take more than 3 or 4 days max to get to my house from one of them plants.

I have thought it would be more likely if it were stollen to just get the empty box or one with a chunk of wood in it or something.
Its in the second size priority box which is pretty big eh.

Hopefully it turns up. One thing if the guy stole it hes got the only 3 barreled marston 32 rf pistols in Canada most likely :p
Not gona be hard to trace it if he ever tryed to move it. LOL

ive had so much stuff got lost /missing i nthe mail the last few weeks, i dont know even where to start.
i even started going to a different post offices just incase it was someone at that outlet.
Its the worst i have seen it in 10yrs
bbb

I lost a chainsaw from there.

it was only after filing the claim that it mysteriously showed up... full of gas and oil, and chain on bar. (was shipped well dry, and no chain on bar)

I would have rather had the insurance claim

It happens; pay the extra to get to insured. What is it; 10-15 $ ? About the same as a pack of smokes.
I had trouble with a package; and in hindsight I'd have paid the extra easy... just to not have the aggravation.
Mostly CP has been great for shipping.
In before the lock,LOL:)

yes it did turn up. took its time tho!
Customs is really slow right now as well, i guess because of the hi Can Dollar all the Canadian shopers buying in the US.

too true,I've been waiting a lot longer than usual for parcels from the US.

Thats good to know, i thought it was just me and bad luck.
i have a antique been in the montreal customs over a week that place used to be the best for fast in and outa customs service now even it is slow as a lazy pet coon.

Dingus, those guys played with my flint lock for over 10 bussiness days and threw it back in the box unpacked so that thier sugar coated, postal chimp paw marks were all intermingled with the mars and scratches of an unassembled rifle bouncing against it's self.
