Mixing uppers and lowers - colour mismatch?

So what does the Norinco paint over Parkerized over Anodized do? (I didn't even know you could Parkerize Aluminum)

Metal is parkerized. Aluminum is anodized.

Anodizing makes it tougher. Parkerizing make it corrosion resistant.

I dunno....maybe I've been lucky, but all of my Colt, LMT and STAG rifles match perfectly. I've even found used and stripped uppers from STAG that I've purchased in the EE have matched my STAG lowers perfectly, moreso than even the Colts and LMTs. All the Colts have the light to dark gray-almost black finish (depending on model and year produced) with upper/lower matching on factory complete rifles; while the LMT and STAGs run to black.
