MK18 light and/or laser suggestions: setup, brand, model, etc..

So I get my package today from One Shot Tactical and Im all exited, until I open the package and realize I just paid $100 for 2 bolts, 2 allen keys, thread locker, a piece of paper and and empty zip lock bag. No mount! Like WTF OST!

I got $10 says my mount is in a glass display case in their store, and they forgot to put it back in the box before shipping me an empty box

OK guys to make me feel better about getting an empty box today, does anyone know who has ATPIAL PEQ-15 in Tan in stock for online purchase? Id like to buy one, my range gun shop only has black in stock...

Its not too bad they have a few cool items in stock, a little more expensive then what you can get them for online, but its nice to actually be able to handle something before you buy it. And just drive to pick it up instead of waiting a week for shipping. Thats part of the reason I want a PEQ-15 and a an Elcan sight but they only have both in black.

I looked at the IRG site for them but it says contact for availability, so well see

I kinda went overboard with mine: Mk 18 with Dbal l 2 and the Surefire P2X Fury 500 lm with the SF SR07 dual rail mount switch, you do have to purchase the Sf tailcap to adapt to the switch which was a surprising $50 ish. Also Viking Tactics flash light mount with the cable management rail covers from Ergo tie everything up nicely... not everyone's cup of tea, but I like it.

Received and mounted my M3X w remote today, very very pleased with it. Had to do some fancy thinning of the ladder rail cover to set the remote deep in there but now it fit pretty much perfect and it sure ain't going anywhere.



new KAC M4QD on there too, haven't shot it yet but it definitely looks the part.

That is crazy lol, I can only imagine, but OST are gonna treat you right no worries with them

thanks guys, quite fond of it, nothing against the FDE really I just had to grab a good deal on a EE all black and convince the seller to leave the KAC sights on... and to be honest it might suit me better anyways.

Yeah just as stupid simple mistake, already contacted them and they simply said sorry we will send you out a new one ASAP. I've already ordered from them 2 times before with good experience, and I am also waiting for them to get in some more KAC parts for my next order....

Their OST merchant of war patches they send with each package are starting to pile up lol

Its all good, just to make up for the disappointment I contacted IRG about an ATPIAL (AN/PEQ-15) because on their site it said "contact for availability" and the guy that answered the phone was great. He said he has some in stock for a military/police order, but it is not complete so he has more coming it. And asked if Im cool with him shipping me one of theirs right away, and he will simply replace it with one of the ones that is coming in to complete their order. I paid already and he said it should ship by Wed!

Where do you get a switch like that? Im looking for one that will work with my Surefire and the ATIPAL if possible

Also I am about to order some ERGO wire loom rail covers, do you know how well the color of the ERGO FDE matches the original FDE rail covers that come with the DD MK18? Its $36 for a 3 pack of long rails, so Im just trying to decide if I should splurge for those so they match, or if the match it pretty close I'll just leave the original ones and add the ERGO wire loom ones where I need them

Check out 911 Supply in Calgary, that is where I got my dual switch... as for the Ergo ladders color matching, they are pretty close to the Magpul, which I run on mine, but no idea on the DD FDE...picked those from Dave's tactical. they are on this site.
