Modern 3-gun shoot Ponoka Ab

On May 5 & 6 I will be hosting our second modern 3-gun shoot. This shoot is a mixture of service rifle, RCMP qualifer, and IDPA style shooting.

The Ponoka club is located off Hwy 2 at the Meniak exit just north of Ponoka. Coming from Edmonton is should take you an hour. Coming from Calgary it should take you two hours. You can camp overnight if you are interested.

You can choose to shoot either on Saturday or Sunday. Only 24 positions open per day. To register go to our clubs website at http://ponokafishandgame.ca/ and read the joining instructions. Match instructions, score card and targets are also available.

The match instructions explain the type of firearms and ammunition needed.

Yup rained in the Am but dried out for the PM.

I had a blast even though I zeroed the rifle portions of the event, that's what I get for not checking zero.

I was a great day and a great shoot.

Had a great time. Great bunch of guys. A little rain never hurt nobody. And besides: I got to find out that I'd have troule hitting a barn, if I was in it.
