Modern Hunter/IMI mags

The XCR-M 10 round pistol mags are what we are currently recommending for these, they run extremely well.
On my own personal rifle, I have a couple hundred rounds through using XCR-M mag(s), and in the shop for test firing purposes, I'd say I've easily put 1500+ rounds through with those mags.

On the XCR-M non-pistol mags that are crimped to limit them to 5, the method of limiting capacity (crimping) has made the spring bind up inside the mag when loaded with a 5th round. This occurs in all rifles, and it even occurs in the mags without a rifle present.

Projected cost: I cannot answer at this time. I anticipate they will be approximately around the cost of our AT15 mags. ($32) but that is just a guess, at this point in time.
10 round pistol: That is our intention at this point in time. They will be molded in XCR-M 10 round pistol mag.
Time Line: Currently looking at a minimum of two months away until molds are made. Probably 4 to 6 months until we have finished and tested product available.

That all seems reasonable, I was worried about like a 60 of 70 dollar mag, 32 is close enough.
Will you be making a 5 round version as well for hunting?

What mags are modern hunters currently shipping with?

Thanks for answering all my questions.

Just to clarify, the price is what we are "hoping" to see them come in at. Until we have the final numbers in for cost of molds and life span of molds we will not have a concrete number. From past experience we think this to be relatively close.

That is sweet that the new mags will be 10 rounders. I'm still trying to find some gen2 pmags though, does anyone know an easy way to tell the difference between the gen2 pmags and the gen3?

Could these not be limited another way? I had an AK47 mag for an SKS-D rifle, that was limited by welding a long piece of sheet metal to the follower. The thin metal strip slid between the spring and the edge of the magazine, and was long enough to only allow for 5 rounds to be inserted into the mag.

Quick question, I can't tell from the picture because it shows the back rib of the magazine, but does the front have a small rib as well? Your magwell in the modern hunter seems to have space for a small rib which would allow us to have a little longer coal than the xcr-m mags allow.
