Modern Sporter - Build Discussions

Thought I’d post how my build is coming along. Very, very happy so far. When I first put the green A1 furniture and the carbine stock, I immediately wanted to put my “backup” A2 black furniture back on, but alas, the A1 has grown on me and I think she’ll stay this way. The Forward Assist uppers can’t get here fast enough so I can finish her. Still haven’t decided what to do with the SS upper I have on order... starting to think .300 blk.

We can bring in more if you're interested, that's not a problem.

Shawn, I’m considering having you guys bring in a handful of the parts I want for my build. Maybe even install those items for me before shipping the upper and lower (2nd production run).

What would be the eta if you brought in more. I’m 100% set on a lightweight TiN BCG.
I would estimate 4-6 weeks, but realistically the more parts on order, the sooner the order gets placed right. If time's critical give us a call and we can discuss some options.

We can definitely do that, if you email us at info@albertatacticalrifle.com with the list of parts, we can get you pricing and our fee's for assembly are $150 for the complete rifle.

Now this is gonna be a slick rig and not some slapped together tacitrash one!!!

Ohhhhh $150 for assembly? This negates the great nut torquing tool debate. Will keep this in mind. So sometime in July I can drop off my box 'o parts?

Not time critical that's for sure, I'm in the second production run of MS, just want to get the rest of my parts ordered. 4-6 weeks works but hmm I might get you guys to bring in a few more things for me. Basically anything from Brownells or what? I'm wanting the Brigand Blade 15" handguard and noticed ctcs no longer carries the 15" only 12". Think you guys can bring in one of those too and if so what price. I'm for sure in for a lightweight TiN bolt though.
