Actually here's what happened to one of mine.

Gen 3 Pmags are known to cause bolt catches to "slip", sometimes partially due to the bolt catch moving rearwards if you insert an empty mag(I know, why insert an empty mag?). Nonetheless what I did was I took a C clip off of a ejection port door pivot/strut, clamped it a little tighter so it'll fit perfectly on the roll pin of the mag catch. I think a washer works too but they don’t usually come in black. Problem of slippage disappeared after.

Same thing with mine. First run lower, correct bolt catch spacing. Second run lower, notably more space allowing for more wobble. I’m gonna try your port door c-clip idea.

Has anyone put an Elcan Spectre DR 1.5-6X on one of these? I’ve read some of the reviews on the optic in other forums, and have seen they don’t lockup tight on some guns, and the arms levers aren’t adjustable I guess. Just want to confirm the rail on these receivers are in spec and the Elcan will lockup before I buy one

Yes. It has an in spec rail...you can also order A.R.M.S. Mk II lever arms for like $20ish if your worried, they are adjustable...install videos on YouTube, pretty easy!!!

No, I sold it before I got a chance to.
I have a B.A.D to go on my run 3, when I get it.

Finally got mine to the range today and put 100 rounds through it. It ran perfectly without so much as a hiccup. It's my first build, so I'm very relieved.

I put the Strike Industries Enhanced bolt release on a few of mine. Works great and has a little larger area to press on compared to a mil-spec one and it's not as ugly as the Geissele in my opinion

That looks like a good option.

Agreed! I'm running the phase 5 and it is slick... will need a shim or two though

Similar function... but the phase 5 is one piece and a little lighter... plus it has more "looking cool factor"

Phase 5 is one piece and the BAD lever has caused some firearms to malfunction.

Last I heard they’re waiting for a bit because of a change in location or something like that. I could be wrong. McGowen can make the barrels and possibly IBI as well.
