The answer to that is really simple! It's actually 7 fold. So we take the date ordered, we divide it by the value of the purchase. that's first step. Then we cross reference with the buyer's PAL number and anyone who has the same purchase value, on the same date ordered, is then sorted by the last 2 digits of their PAL. (to be fair, we actually take the square root of the last two digits of the PAL, because we didn't want to allow outside interference in this process). That's the second step.

THEN we take your assignment within that list, and cross reference issue #7 of the 1954 sears catalog, to determine alphabetic sequencing based on the third line of the second article.

Then after all of that is done, we build an incredibly beautiful firearm that is absolutely unparalleled, ignore all the previous bull#### and ship them as soon as we possibly can. And that is about the limit to what I am going to fuel the rumors and speculation regarding the whole 'oh but he got his before me but I ordered at 3:42 pm and he ordered at 4:12pm'.

All joking aside, why aren't people looking at this with excitement saying 'holy crap! I bet mine is one of the dozen sitting on the shipping table behind Shaun while he's writing this post on Gunnutz!' instead of hostility or resentment ?

Aha! I knew something was fishy!

I don't know if it's against company policy, but do you guys want some beers to take home? I have an in-store pickup and you've all been doing a lot that goes unappreciated. Just let me know the drink(s) of choice!

No one will be sad once they get their receiver set, they are a work of art. Picked mine up last week and assembled it right away, just waiting for my hand guard from Brownells then off for testing.

I thought ATRS said they would be shipping out in order the pre orders were received. Whether you paid in full or not has no bearing on who will get theirs first?

Paid in full has no bearing. Where we are running into a nightmare is that the anodizer is not running them in sequence, so we get a batch back from them that we can either waste time sorting for sequence or simply install the rear pin and ship, which will alter the time frame by a short amount of time within a batch or up to 75 sets.
This is NOT how we planned to deal with the shipping but is what we have to deal with so are doing the best we can to get as many out as possible as quickly as possible.
Some lowers we had to remake as for some reason our EDM decided to go rogue and chewed up a handful of lowers. Doing this in the middle of a run to keep the serial numbers all correct has taken some time that we did not expect to lose.

When we initially posted projected dates I failed to take into account summer vacations, the number of shoots and shows that we attend during June, July and August as well as TACCOM for which I apologize for as all of this has set us back about a month in what we had hoped to be an accurate forecast of production.
We are doing everything we can to get sets out as quickly as possible and appreciate everyones patience.

I didn’t mean my post in a malicious way, i was just saying that per your previous replies orders were being filled in the order they received. At least that’s the way I understood your post.

No offense taken and you understood my earlier posts correctly. We just got thrown a curve ball that we did not see with the anodizer not keeping serial numbers in sequence. I can't blame them for trying to keep their work as simple as possible, it just messes up our master plan. In transparency I figured it would be best to let folks know what is going on rather than have pages of speculation.

Appreciate the answer... an simple explanation is all we need.

All good! Keep up the good work.

Kind of adds a lottery aspect to it! From my past track record on luck I expect I'll see mine in 2021 :p

Thanks for the update!
