If this is indeed the case, the SN is not an indication where they are at(production) currently as someone who is back at the end of the line can have an earlier SN due to the fact that they paid when they first ordered but their position in line does not change.

I could be wrong but I don't think anyone who order in Oct. 2018 has heard anything yet but for some reason BENELLImFOUR who order in NOV. 2018 already got shipping info.


If BENELLImFOUR ordered in Nov and he already got his shipping info that means ATRS are shipping those who paid in full first before everyone else.....perhaps ATRS can clear some confusion here?

My buddy got his receiver set last week and he didn't pay in full.

I Just received notification my order is ready to ship; it was pre-ordered on October 11, 2018.
 
As far as I know, you aren’t issued a S/N until you’ve paid in full. They’re building them sequentially by serial number, so when each one is ready in order they contact the buyer. Correct me if I’m wrong but that’s just what I’ve gathered from all this. I think pre order secures your spot in the run #1 #2 #3 etc but paying in full determines your spot within those runs.

Sounds good, I'm looking forward to mine, can't be much longer now. With that said, everyone I've always dealt with at ATRS has always been great. I have no doubt they are doing the best they can without compromising quality. After all, it's money in the pocket for them. Too much confusion and speculation on all this delivery stuff. I'm sure they have their system and are working it through.
 
I'm liking the idea of people who received their "ready for shipment" email giving us a clue about what S/N number their MS is. I'm mid 300's, so I think maybe mid October?

I have the exact same plan for mine.

With how #### could hit the fan coming end of October. May be the only year it’s usable for a hunting season.

The answer to that is really simple! It's actually 7 fold. So we take the date ordered, we divide it by the value of the purchase. that's first step. Then we cross reference with the buyer's PAL number and anyone who has the same purchase value, on the same date ordered, is then sorted by the last 2 digits of their PAL. (to be fair, we actually take the square root of the last two digits of the PAL, because we didn't want to allow outside interference in this process). That's the second step.

THEN we take your assignment within that list, and cross reference issue #7 of the 1954 sears catalog, to determine alphabetic sequencing based on the third line of the second article.

Then after all of that is done, we build an incredibly beautiful firearm that is absolutely unparalleled, ignore all the previous bull#### and ship them as soon as we possibly can. And that is about the limit to what I am going to fuel the rumors and speculation regarding the whole 'oh but he got his before me but I ordered at 3:42 pm and he ordered at 4:12pm'.

All joking aside, why aren't people looking at this with excitement saying 'holy crap! I bet mine is one of the dozen sitting on the shipping table behind Shaun while he's writing this post on Gunnutz!' instead of hostility or resentment ?

It's actually quite simple.... everyone's got their knickers all up in a bunch because they think JT and his band of thugs are going to take them away before you get them off the shipping table and sent out to "Mike".

Damn I don't know where that guy gets all his money but I'm sure he's going to enjoy his stockpile of Sporters.
 
It's a lot easier to wait for the 2nd run lower when you weren't afraid of taking a chance and already have a 1st run lower.

To rub more salt, my 2nd run lower will sit on the shelf collecting dust because I don't even have the parts ready to assemble it.
