I have read this thread from top to back . I read comments on the 6.8spc and the 6.5 Grendel . This might be a dumb question but what about the 25-45 sharps?

I was reading a few articles about that cartridge last week. Doesn't seem to be a very good round.

This is the first run(75 rifles). They are new to the market. First run is going on 7 month wait time, not sure about the second run.

I will wait on more info then before ordering. thanks

I read that it's comparable to 30-30, in how the bullit drops so fast. There's an article in firearms blog. The projectiles are to short and stubby.

That's with the soft lead tip. I'm sure the varmint round or fmj has a bit better col. But still if zeroed at 200 you are a inch high at 100yds and 5" low at 300yrds from what I read.

Yes, it was. I was told my order was inside the first ten. It is getting frustrating....this wait.

I ordered Nov 30, I remember it saying 6 months until they started rolling out. So we're going into 7 ?? Not to bad I guess.

Did that work for you? Maybe I'll try that tonight. Last vacation until Christmas is August 15. Would LOVE to have it to go on vacation with me... Not frustrated, just really, really excited. Can't wait to get this thing and have some fun.

Mines getting a 2.5-10 nxs off another rifle. Have a Viper PS-T 4-16 on my wife's 223 that I really haven't had a chance to use yet that is the other option. Would love to get a Vx-6 3-18 in a couple of years, great magnification range, good glass and reasonable weight - 22 oz or so about the same as my Nxs. No budget for it this year though.
