Noticed that ATRS put up some new pictures of the MV. Thought I'd share it here.

I bought a Vortex PST 4-16 SFP I'll be putting on my MV for target, coyote & gopher work. Keeping my XCR-L keymod LW so it'll do the job with a Nikon Prostaff 3 2.5-10 on my 223 upper and a Leopold VX-R 1-4 on my 6.8 upper for closer in work on coyotes and deer respectively. XCR's actually my wife's but she lets me use it :) If ATRS ever comes out with a 6.8 or 6.5 upper I'll probably be able to stop borrowing it. But I won't - love the ergonomics on the XCR, and has good hunting accuracy. Less excited about a 300 blackout since we can't get it with a short barrel or a suppressor here in Canada and use it for hunting. 300 BO ballistics also have me less excited for hunting purposes. I know at the moment there are no plans for different calibers, and I'm very excited about the MV as it stands. But, if ATRS ever makes a caliber conversion that's legal for hunting, I'm in for another upper!

Thought about a MH in 243 or 308, but weight with optic looks like its going to be ~ 10 lbs, haven't seen anybody post a weight on the MH specs list that's sub 9 lbs with optic and lots are 12 or 14 lbs. Since I have a 243 thats 7 lbs including optic and a 7mm Rem that's 9 lbs all in, MH doesn't make sense for me as a hunting rifle, YMMV. Doesn't mean I wouldn't want one, but since I don't have time to shoot what I've got now I'm only getting what I'm going to use. If I could get a MH that was 9 lbs or less with a 3-9 optic, I could probably get rid of everything I have and be happy with a MV in 223 and a MH with 308 and 243 uppers. I'd need a 22lr for plinking and practice of course.

How about everyone else, what's your ideal all ATRS rifle collection for hunting, plinking, shooting sports or whatever you do with your rifles? Don't forget about the plans for the future Modern Magnum and tell us what you'd buy now based on what they're offering and what your wish list would be...
