Modified vs Cylinder bore

By "new" I meant being able to purchase ammo from their US website. Good to know but very expensive. The price for the shipping on their US 'site was steep but now that you tell me that doesn't include tax and shipping when it gets to Canada is way too much. At least for me. I'll wait until Ammosupply gets more.
 
I guess so. Frontier Firearms is also selling the 14 inchers, both cylinder and modified, $609.

Barrel swaps take about 5 seconds to complete and you don't have to alter a barrel. I think a barrel is about $150 US, probably close (or less) than the expense of the work you had done. I believe this involves 'porting' the barrel, many people don't like a ported barrel.

Ya it can be pricey but Black Magic stuff is hard to find. So thats why i did it.
 
Brenekke slugs are arguably the best, I wouldn't waste them on targets. Save them specifically for predator defense scenarios.

dunno yet as i have not recieved them yet. i was quoted november. i ordered 12 or 15 boxes. ill let ya know the total pricè when i get them in.

I missed "November". You ordered and paid for them in November? Is it taking this long because they were back-ordered when you paid for them?

I ordered them October 10th. Cost was 319.11 Canadian Dollars.

All exports close on the 15th of each month. Shipments will arrive in Canada within the 1st week to 10 days of the following month. You will receive an invoice for the GST and Canadian shipping to your door once your order has been processed.

So I should be seeing that invoice soon. It can take a tad longer, what they are giving you is a ball park, I'll call if I have heard nothing by Nov 20th or so.
 
OK, thanks very much again. Good info. I am an idiot. For some reason I was thinking November 2013. I work shift work. It used to be that I was having trouble keeping track of the days. Now it's weeks and months it seems lol. That's not too bad of a time frame, especially for un-obtanium ammo. I'm going to order a few boxes.

Only one box left right now. Of the 3 inch magnum Black Magic. Ya have to keep checking back for when they get more in stock. I cant even remember how many boxes I ordered , may have been over 20, and another guy I told ordered a bunch too.

What's so good about these slugs and why do we want them?
 
They have great and devastating penetration ability. I really have no need or use for them so don't have a reason to hoard any personally.
