Moose Burger

One nice thing about making venison burgers without any added meat is no flare-ups on the grill. I used to never add pork to the burgers and liked the dry taste. A few years ago, we had a bad season and only shot a couple little ones so we cut the burger with pork to stretch it out. I prefer it this way, the burgers are juicier and the fatty meat adds flavor. Taste is a personal thing especially with food you have put an awful lot of work into, if people ##### about the way you prep your food, #### 'em.

The thing about something personal like food is that nobody cares what you agree with or not. Thats why I don’t get this weird attitude some people have, including a couple here, that if you’re not eating it ‘my way’ you’re doing it wrong.

I didn't say you were "wrong," cupcake, I said I didn't agree... that is called "an opinion," just like yours was an opinion... and this is called a "conversation." This how conversations work in a group setting, face to face or online, same diff... you share your opinion, I share my opinion, others share their opinions and we arrive at a consensus or we agree to disagree, and it is all good... seems you grew up in the age of "participation trophies." In the world of men, stamping your feet and screaming "mine, mine, mine," is not likely to be entertained. It seems that YOU are the one who doesn't like other people's opinions.

Deer, bear, moose, elk......straight up grind with no pork, for burgers.

Sometimes I add bacon bits, dried cranberries, onions or things like that, but never found the need to add pork.
